Professional Mentoring Program

Let’s be honest. Many of us went into our field because we wanted to help people find their best and most beautiful, natural glow - no matter their age, gender or ethnicity. And although our education has taught us the basics, once we went out into the world and began interacting with clients, we soon realized that there was so much that we had to learn. From running a sustainable client base, to treating a variety of skin issues, to keeping ourselves educated on the best products and tools to use in an ever-changing field. To be a good skin professional, it takes a lot of time and support that many of us just don’t have.

Unfortunately, because it’s so difficult to get the support and education we need, our industry as a whole is suffering. That’s why I’ve developed this Mentorship Program for skincare professionals. This program is open to sole practitioners, or those looking to begin their own practice, with a few years’ experience working directly with clients. My goal is to support you and your business goals. For me, when one Esthetician gets the support she/he needs, we all benefit!

We know that your “before” and “afters” are 90% of the marketing you should be doing for your business. You need to show great results! However, it’s common to run into issues if you are using products with the wrong ingredients or you have the sequence of layering them out of order. There is no quick or easy way to learn this! That’s where we have your back. I can walk you through the changes you may need to make to a specific client’s modality, while Michael can help you with social media tips in order to get those results in front of the right eyes!

Common dilemma: I bought this expensive piece of equipment. How can I utilize it best for my clients?

Unfortunately, it’s all too common for sales people to “scam” aestheticians into buying an expensive piece of equipment that they promise will do more than it actually will. Through a Zoom consultation, we can help show you how to use the equipment and make the most of your investment. Sometimes, we also run into the issue of licensing. If you are not licensed to operate the machinery, and weren’t aware of it, or your state has specific restrictions around that type of machine or product, we’ll inform you of that as well. Although this is never a fun thing to learn, it is much better to know this before you use the new system on a client!

Common dilemma: There are so many product lines to purchase. How do I know which one to keep in stock?

It’s a very common myth that using all of the products from one product line will get you the best results. Not true! Over my 10-year career, I have cherry picked products from different lines to ensure the best systems for my clients. From some lines, I use several products, and from others I may only use one. I’ll share with you the benefits I’ve found with a wide array of products as well as the modalities to make the most of each item you carry. We all know that treating skin is an art form, and I’ll happily share the modalities and products that have worked on my client’s skin issues. Especially if you are stuck with a specific client question, I am more than happy to Zoom-in for a consultation. Just consider me the “second-opinion” you can call on!
